Sheer joy! One of my all time favorite pictures of my son, the Jr. Mint, at age 4 upon discovering the "Golden Egg!" Happy Easter and Happy Passover! Our family celebrates the former, and I have officially 24 hours to get my bunny bum in gear. Many people serve the traditional ham on Easter. For better or for worse, ham is one of the few things I do not care for. I usually make rack of lamb, and in a nod to my love of Jewish cuisine, I always like to include a course of matzo ball soup. (BTW, I also make a mean brisket for a Goyeh) Regardless of what your traditions are, I am posting some inspiration, and some favorites that I will be including in our celebrations this weekend. I hope that everyone has a wonderful time with friends, family and loved ones~Cheers! diy – decoupage easter eggs bubbles! "Although it's made in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino, this California sparkling wine might well be mistaken for Champagne. Roederer Estate was, in fact, founded by one of the greatest Champagne houses in France, Louis Roederer, some 30 years ago, and the style of the wines is similarly rich, almost yeasty and tremendously elegant." Wall Street Journal Lettie Teague ina AND hydrangeas, how can i resist?! rack of lamb persillade, potato-fennel gratin and sauteed carrots. Ina is always a great go to. Here are three recipes she featured on a tv episode for her friend's birthday dinner that would be well suited for Easter. matzo ball soup Recipe from smittenkitchen.com

Mom would be proud Carrie! Love your ideas, I am off to Trader Joes for nitrate free ham. One last fling before I start a food elimination diet. Have a great Easter. Thinking of you and Jack.
